Certification 

The class lasts about two hours and includes hands-on training with manikins and AED simulators. 

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. 

Recommended for Care Facilities/Nursing homes, Dental Offices, or Medical Offices.  

After completing the online portion of the American Heart Association's blended learning (https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls) you can schedule a pass-off. This usually takes about 30 minutes. 

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. 

Recommended for corporate or industrial workplaces and youth athletic coaches.
